The worst campsite I've ever stayed in! Staff rude, unfriendly and unhelpful, no BBQs, no noise, no FUN.

Well we decided we would book a weekend of camping and canoeing. 8 people in our group, all couples. After looking online found wyedean canoe based in symonds yat east. It had a campsite on site, which was just what we were looking for. So we rang them and booked friday nights camping and a 2 day canoe trip. We saw on there website they said about hen and stag parties, and they require a "noise bond". We asked about it and they said for hen and stag parties.
All excited and ready for a fun weekend, me and my partner arrive to get us booked in for the camping. We were then told by the chap behind the counter that he needs a £20 per head noise bond (£160 for our group). We told the chap that we weren't happy and that some of our group wouldn't be able (afford) to pay it. The guy told us that he could direct us to a cashpoint. The cheek!
So after a drink, we found a new amazing campsite up the hill called Bracelands and stayed there. Had a great night. And returned to wyedean at 10:30am on the saturday for canoeing. They were so unorganized and we were left standing around waiting for someone to get our paddles and life jackets. We finally drove in the mini bus to our drop point and were in the water for 12:00. Thats an hour after we were suposed to be in the water!
We had a great saturday canoeing, a great stay at ross on wye rowing club. A fun day sunday....... untill we arrived back at symonds yat and to the wyedean canoe. The guy on the bank said " come on, we all work together to get your stuff up the steps" but as soon as we helped get our canoe's to where they wanted them. We were all left to it, to carry all our stuff up, all our heavy stuff.
Got to the car, which was in their carpark. Covered, absolutley covered in dust and dirt from the dirt road in the carpark. They told us to park there! When we told them we were annoyed by this, the chap said " its a dirt road, what do you expect!"

The staff and owners are rude, unhelpfull, they think they are ALWAYS right, all about the money, very poor customer service and highly unorganized!!!!!!!! Beware!!!!!!!
