Accommodation for the Ryder Cup 2010

Ryder Cup taken by Dan Perry at 2008 PGA ShowIn 2010 the Ryder Cup is being hosted in South East Wales at the Celtic Manor Resort near Newport,  Monmouthshire from 1 to 3 October 2010 with practice days from 27 September.  The Wye Valley & Forest of Dean Tourism Association has over 170 members offering accommodation for this event, all of whom are conveniently located for the competition access points.  We have hotels, B&Bs, self-catering cottages, pubs and even campsites. There is something for everyone lucky enough to be attending.  Our properties are in Monmouthshire and also South Herefordshire and West Gloucestershire just over the border into England.  All are convenient for anyone going to the Ryder Cup and most are less than 30 miles from the event car parks.

It will not be possible to take a car to the event and instead there are two compulsory Park and Ride locations; near M4 Junction 28 to the west of Celtic Manor Resort and Junction 23A to the East.  Spectators will not be allowed to walk, cycle, drive cars or taxis into the Resort but must use the official bus system.  Junction 23A is ideally suited to anyone staying in our properties in the Wye Valley or the Forest of Dean.  In addition, there are railway stations at Lydney and Chepstow with regular services to and from Newport.  Click here for details of the transport locations.
